All our Pasture Fed Lamb have spent their life grazing the rich pasture along our East Suffolk coast, feasting on a wide variety of untouched grasses and wild herbs, giving the meat a unique, delicious flavour and texture. On occasions during the year, we also offer Organic Lamb from Shimpling Park, near Lavenham. These Lamb rumps are terrific. Full of flavour and generous layer of fat to baste the meat whilst cooking.
We have removed the bone to make cooking a little simpler.
Easy to cook, place in a pre heated oven (180 degrees) with some oil, rosemary and garlic for 30 minutes. Leave to rest for ten minutes and cut into thin slices to share.
I recently made up a simple marinade, using harissa, ground cumin and some fresh coriander, and cooked gently over the embers on my BBQ. Delicious
Each rump should feed two, maybe three at a push.
