Bacon & Dry Cured Meat
At Salter & King we only sell the very best proper bacon, dry-cured in a traditional way, using heritage breed free-range Suffolk reared pork. This gives our bacon a wonderful, full flavour.
Our pork, raised in the fields around the Suffolk coast, is exceptional. The light soil of these coastal pastures enables our free-range pigs to root and forage, growing slowly and happily, so that the resulting pork is high in marbling with a wonderful, traditional flavour, and a good covering of delicious fat to produce excellent bacon.
Our dry-cured smoked bacon is lightly smoked over oak and beech.
