Why you will love our Free-Range Large Roasting Cockerel...

  • Highest animal husbandry
  • Reared for longer with strong, robust flavour
  • Great centrepiece for gatherings

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A SEASONAL PRODUCT AND IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION OR DELIVERY IN DECEMBER.

These wonderful free-range cockerels are slow-grown outdoors with unlimited opportunity and space for their natural foraging behaviours.

Raised at Yew Tree Farm in Fressingfield, these magnificent birds are given plenty of time to reach maturity which results in a bird with a robust and distinctive flavour, as well as lots of rich, dark meat and real succulence.

A cockerel is a fantastic alternative to turkey for Christmas. Despite being smaller, these Yew Tree Farm cockerels still deliver real visual impact and work brilliantly with bread sauce and all the trimmings.

The 4kg option will weigh between 4-5kg and feeds 10-14.

Want to know more?

Our free range turkeys, geese and roasting chickens come from Yew Tree Farm in Fressingfield, a family-run farm nestled in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. We’ve cultivated a close relationship with Philip, who rears his flock with care and expertise. The birds are raised slowly to full maturity, spending time outdoors with plenty of space to roam freely.
