2022 Marmalade Competition Winners

The continuity this competition provides is so comforting! I love it when the golden jars start to trickle in every February.

The judges this year were last year's winner Judith Green, and Ben - head distiller at Fisher's gin here in Aldeburgh and a marmalade afficionado to boot. (We love Fisher's gin, please try it if you haven't.) As usual we had a stellar cast of hopefuls and we are delighted to announce the 2022 winner and runners-up as follows...

1^st place – No 2 Alison Andrews

2^nd place – No 19 Alison Barneston

3^rd place – No 26 Rose Paul

Runners Up – No 29 Sasha French, No 20 Trevor Oliver, P13 Stephen Stansfield

1^st place in ‘Special Category’ – P12 Georgina Sayer

2^nd place place in 'Special Category' – No 28 Sasha French

We're thrilled to have raised £200 so far and we're selling the remaining entries in the shops for £2 jar.  All proceeds will be donated to The Bus Shelter Ipswich.
