We are passionate about good beef. We have several farms from which we buy our animals, including Natasha Mann’s herd of Lincoln Reds at Iken, and Martin Durre’s farm at Kenton. Martin has a growing herd of organic Red Poll cattle, fed on the lush pastures and varied meadows surrounding the village. He prides himself on growing his animals very slowly so that the beef has an amazing deep flavour and real tenderness. Generally, animals from Martin have lots of marbelling, wonderful creamy fat and a great rich colour. 

We hang all our beef for at least 28 days, but can hang it longer on request.
